The LakeRidge tennis program is an important segment of the club's recreational offerings, and we are proud of our active tennis program. We have four lighted outdoor courts and two indoor courts. We also have a back board and ball machines for member use.

For adults, we offer clinics, leagues, and tournaments. We participate in USTA Team Tennis, BMW Mixed Doubles, Dupont World Team Tennis and the USPTA Fall Tennis League. These programs are available for all levels of play. For the social player, we offer tennis mixers, a fashion show, inter-club activities, and benefit tournaments.

For juniors we offer a comprehensive and progressive program which stresses tennis fundamentals, individual achievement and fun. Our instructional program ranges from pee-wees through advanced groups. Our weekly scrambles and team tennis serve to initiate younger players into competition. Tournaments are also an important part of our program and we hold several tournaments during the year, as well as support USTA Junior Tennis events.


The LakeRidge Country Club Tennis Pro Shop offers everything for your tennis needs. In addition to racquets and racquet stringing, we have a wide selection of clothing, shoes, bags, and tennis accessories.

The following opportunities await you, no matter what your level of skill or interest in tennis:

Sunday Playday: Sundays from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.  This group is for players ages 10 and under.  We play lots of games in the Quickstart format.

Beginners: Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:50 to 5:30 p.m.  This group is for beginning tennis players ages 11 and up.  It's a great way to get your little tennis player ready for middle school tennis teams.

Intermediates: Mondays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.  This group is for competitive middle school players.

Saturday Adults: Saturdays from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m.  This group is mostly 3.5 players, but welcomes all players levels 3.0 to 4.0.
